Visibility is one of the most important parts of validating one's identity. When we don't see ourselves represented in media and in society, it becomes nearly impossible to feel as though we fit in. Unfortunately, queer folks regularly face misrepresentation and lack of representation to the extent that we have few, if any, positive role models to look up to. It is my hope, that through this project, queer folks will see people that look and act like them and will see that they can succeed, not despite their identity, but because of it.
