Sophie Haney is a freshman in the Honors College at Southern Oregon University. She plans to major in Communications and minor in Gender, Sexuality, & Women's Studies. As a bisexual woman growing up in a very queer family, she has always felt strongly about creating a positive image of the queer community. She hopes that this project offers solace, inspiration, or at least minor comfort to other queer folks, and that it will remind them that they are valid and valued in this world.
