"When I was growing up in high school, I was a little different. I didn't always wear things that matched or I wasn't someone that shaved my legs, so I was not your conventional person...but I also was in the theater department so I had a really wonderful, supportive family there that we were all kind of the odd people out so it was kind of nice to have that whole group. And we were lucky enough to have 4 wonderful teachers that were part of the drama department, they were all English teachers, really great group of people."
